So I figured, if anyone has a boring Sunday, why not spice it up with some crazy eye make up?
And maybe I can inspire you with a tutorial?
This tutorial is made with a base out of eyepencils, just to show you what both Phlox and I occasionally do just as a sake of change!
Well, let's get started then!
First thing first! Do your complexion, and powder well, as I haven't as you can see haha.
And if you want you can apply a thin layer of primer, I used a tiny bit of Too Faced Shadow Insurance Glitter Glue on the brow bone for future applying! |
| Colour the waterline and paint a line under the bottom lashes. I've used NYX Slim Eye Pencil in Electric Blue. The line should follow the eye, but doesn't have to be too neat... |
...because it'll be smudged out!
| And end up like this. |
| Time to colour-prime the lid! This is NYX Slim Lip Pencil in Currant. And I was rather careless drawing it again. |
| Simply because I'll blend this one too! I used an angled synthetic brush to make it easier to make a soft wing |
| Like this! |
Time for some action! I've used a pigment from MadMinerals called Furious...
| ...and applied it to the crease. Furious is a rather blue purple, but with the reddish pink underneath it gets a whole new colour on the lid! |
| And for the lower lashline I used UR Fine Mutli Use Pigment also from MADMinerals on the pencil I applied earlier |
| Result! |
| Then I wanted to add a soft wing with the blue and grabbed a small pencil with some Comet Eye Dust from Medusa on it |
I also blurred it in to the other blue pigment
Enough? No! Why not bring up that wing a notch?
There! A soft wing is what we got now!
| Highlighter is on next! Of course I had to take my lovely Puzzle Cube in the Legends Collection by Shiro Cosmetics! Long time no see! |
Puzzle Cube on the brow bone and around the tear duct to meet up with both UR Fine & Furious!
| Then I drew my eyeliner with the Medium Pencil Paddle from Illamasqua. This is of course optional! |
But a little darker blue close to the lashes is never wrong!
| Do your brow (I filled in my brows with Tri Brow Colour from Make Up Store) and pick out your mascara of choice! This is Skinny Brush Mascara by Eyeko. |
Tadaaa! And it is done! Look result down below!
Hope you found this useful!
And of course you can go crazy with different eyepencils just to play up some new colours! I love putting on a shadow and simultaneously get a funky undertone!
Let's get crazy with undertones!
Sum up of products:
Primer - Too Faced Shadow Insurance Glitter Glue. Slim Eye Pencil Electric Blue & Slim Lip Pencil in Currant, both from NYX Cosmetics
Shadows - Multi Use Pigments UR Fine & Furious from MadMinerals. Puzzle Cube The Legends Collection by Shiro Cosmetics, Eye Dust Comet by Medusa
